О заказчике

Greek Legend is a Greek company that brings together private farmers from the island of Crete and aggregates premium quality craft butter under a single brand.

Проблема

The previous site was obsolete and contained irrelevant information. At the same time, the company had updated its entire corporate style, and the visuals of the site had to rhyme with it.

Задача

Develop a website for Greek Legend that will translate the premium and craftsmanship of the brand, as well as be a touch point with the potential customer.

Home page / Menu

At the start, we introduced immersion mechanics — the fly-in effect. It adds depth and immediately engages the user in interaction with the site.

They decided to add visuals with the company’s products to the menu: when you put the cursor over the farmer’s name, an image of the oil package he produces appears on the screen.

Farmers' pages

As a reference for the farmer’s section, we took the design of the butter label: minimalistic, calm, emphasizing the craftsmanship of the product — the portrait of a real farmer takes center stage.

The pages turned out to be the most content-rich. They introduce the user to the hereditary Greek farmers, and seamlessly dive into the context of olive oil production. In addition, the page allows you to track the olive harvest by year.

The page about Greece

The goal of this section of the site is to inspire with the Greek spirit to make butter seem even tastier. Here we thought of an engaging mechanics: an AI-generated landscape with an olive grove in the background, the user scrolls through it and along the way «catches» brief facts about Greece.

About the company

The standard corporate page about the company’s benefits was supplemented with high-quality visuals, such as a dynamic 3D rendering of a bottle of oil.

Service pages

In «Contacts» we depicted a stylized map of the island of Crete, and the pin of the company’s office was designed in the form of an inverted drop of oil.

On the privacy policy page we used the metaphor of paper documents: we allocated two visual layers for volume, the annotation was printed on kraft paper, and the main text was printed on an A4 sheet. By the way, this is the only page of the site where we left sharp corners to maintain the resemblance to real documents.

A separate page has been dedicated to quality certificates. It displays all the insignia of a particular oil grade and the company’s awards. QR codes from the labels lead here: each product has its own variation of the pager.

Website development

The frontend of the site was built on Nuxt.js, the backend — on Strapi.

Result

The Greek Legend website is ready and is already bringing customers to the client. And the best part is that the Greek farmers themselves are delighted with the site. So we managed to reflect the idea of their project and the premium nature of the farmer’s product. The link to the production is below.
