Corporate website for the largest Ural engineering and research company.
О заказчике
UralGeo is a large federal-scale company engaged in engineering surveys and design. They are mainly used for construction of gas or oil pipelines and other industrial facilities. Their clients include Gazpro, Lukoil, Rosneft, and Novatek.
Проблема
Engineering surveys for industry is a conservative field. As a rule, large companies from this niche do not pay much attention to Internet marketing, some of them have not even updated the design of their websites since the noughties.
Uralgeo, on the other hand, decided to stand out among its competitors with a technological, modern image. This required a stylish website to replace the old, outdated one. In addition, the company had entered the foreign market, and the old site was oriented only at the Russian-speaking user.

To make a stylish and moderately strict corporate website, which will help to raise the image of UralGeo and present them as a modern, technological company of international level.
Home Page
The client’s niche is conservative and serious, so we decided not to experiment with the main page and chose a more classic structure. But each of its blocks was worked out in detail in order to achieve authenticity.
The block with the company’s services was designed in the form of cards with custom icons. When you hover on them, a ticker with a list of specific types of work appears.
To demonstrate the scale of the company, a map with the geography of the work was placed on the whole screen. with the geography of work. By clicking on the pins, you can see UralGeo projects by regions and go directly to the page of any case.
The news section has been styled as a file folder — it’s as if the user is browsing through real documents.
Service pages
We developed a separate page for each service area, where we disclosed the essence of the work in detail and gave examples based on real cases. And for the sub-services within these areas, we drew unique animated icons.
About the company
Here we not only told you about UralGeo and their major clients, but also added vacancies that are parsed directly from HeadHunter. The informative sections were enriched with beautiful photos from corporate events and other joint activities of employees.
Content
We also took on a large share of filling the pages: we wrote and edited texts, curated a corporate photo shoot to add beautiful portraits and joint photos of employees.
Website development
The frontend of the site was built on Next.js. The backend was built on Strapi.
Result
The website is completely finished and has exceeded the client’s expectations. We managed to make one of the most stylish and technological sites in the niche — which we are very happy about.
